Club Pathways and Development Officer

In April 2018, Michelle Bruce started in post as Club Pathways and Development Officer, an exciting role for Dundee Hawkhill Harriers as Michelle will be working with the club, Scottish Athletics and Leisure and Culture Dundee to deliver on key Athletics objectives over the next 4 years.
The 3 partners will work together with the principle aim of strengthening the infrastructure of athletics in and around the City of Dundee and to work together to secure sustainable increases in the participation and performance of developing athletes.
Michelle will provide day-to-day support within the club, working alongside the Committee, membership and partners to develop and where appropriate enhance the following core areas: club development plan, procedure and policies (including legal status), support and develop the club committee and management structure, improve marketing and communication, implement new financial and membership systems – ultimately resulting in a seven day a week club business.
Most of this work will contribute to the completion of the Regional Performance Centre, to ensure that Dundee Hawkhill Harriers alongside Leisure and Culture Dundee are ready to commence new sessions available for all ages to participate in Athletics on a daily basis.
Michelle would to be happy to hear from any club member on any club aspect so feel free to get in touch with her at michelle.bruce@leisureandculturedundee.com.
