Hawks excel in the Highlands

There were some fantastic performances at yesterday’s River Ness 10k.  Overall winner was Kris Jones (running for Swansea) who completed the course in 29:51 which was the 3rd fastest time in the events history.  First home in a Hawks vest was James Donald (33:29) followed closely by Mike Herron (33:40) and Johnny McBain (34:52).  Completing the Hawk’s lineup were Lee Strachan, Kenny Liddell, Ryan Donald (all sub 38), Angus Donald and Joyce Donald.  This was the penultimate race in the 2017 series with most of the categories now decided.  Final race is the DRR hosted Templeton 10 in November.
