Changes to Membership / Fees for 2017:
As decided at the recent AGM changes have been made to the junior / senior age categories and to the cost of family membership.
The changes are:
- Age Categories
Those aged 18 years and under on 1st January will now be classed as a junior member. Senior members will therefore be aged 19 years and over, unless in Student / Unwaged category.
- Family Membership
Family membership will continue to be available to 3 or more members of the same family but will now be charged at the standard membership price per individual but with a 20% reduction for each member and the SA Capitation fee added to total. For example a family membership consisting of 2 senior members and 1 junior member would pay-
£30+£30+£20=£80 -20%= £64 + £21(3 x £7 SA Cap fees). Total payable fee is £85.
(Note:Family membership will be capped to a maximum of £100)
For 2017 are:
Senior (19yrs & over) —— £30 + £7 SA Capitation = £37
Student/Unwaged ———– £25 +£7 SA Capitation = £32
Junior (9-18yrs inclusive) – £20 + £7 SA Capitation = £27
Family of 3 or more ——— 20% reduction on standard fee + £7 SA Capitation / member
