Minitour of Fife Day 4

Phew…the penultimate race in the Minitour of Fife…venue..Hill of Tarvit House Estate near Cupar. The race..a 2.1km time trial…just athlete against the clock. The sun was out again too..bonus..well at least for the spectators!!!

For the u9s Calum Gibson ran well again claiming his third 1st place of the series with a great run timed at 9:10.

Well done Isla Manning who claimed her first win of the series for the u11 girls clocking 9:03. Lara Manning has been consistent throughout finishing with another 5th in 9:37 and Grace Matthews ran a solid race to finish 9th on 10:09.

Jack Donald now better recovered from his trampling on Tuesday ran strongly for the u11s to finish 10th in 9:40.

In the u13 boys race Blair Scott claimed his third 2nd place of the week completing the course in 8:07.

Ryan Donald who has been running in the u15s section did not run tonight as he is at Scottish Schools in Grangemouth tomorrow.

So to the last race. A 5km multi terrain course at Kingsbarns. Calum Gibson is currently leading the way for the u9 boys carrying a 27 second lead into tomorrow’s race. For the u13 girls Isla Manning is sitting 3rd overall 39 seconds behind 2nd place and for the u13 boys Blair Scott is in 2nd with a 1min and 9 second advantage over 3rd.
