Five club records were set over the weekend with Katie Patullo setting the ball rolling on Saturday when representing Scotland Futures at the Celtic Games. Over the U18 100m hurdle height of 2’6″ Katie finished 2nd in an inaugural club record of 14.53 seconds (the same time as the Irish winner).
At the Petrofac league match on Sunday, three Masters records were set. Mike Tarnawsky claimed two of them improving his own 400m time to 57.2 for an M40 record and setting a new Triple Jump record of 11.03m. In the M45 Triple Jump Dave Williamson set a new record of 7.20m.
Our U17 women smashed the old record in the 4x200m relay. The team of Anna Ferguson, Phoebe Moncur, Shaney McCabe and Andrea Goodman improved the record from 1:52.5 to 1:48.3 – great running.
