Well the results of today’s meet are up already and what a good day it was. So many 1st, 2nds and 3rds to mention we would be here all night!! Great performances, lots of PBs and strong running by the non counters too. You all play a part.
There was a 1st in u15 girls 200m A string for Niamh Robertson in a time if 27.1secs. The girls 4x 100m relay team also had a great run finishing 1st.
In the u11 boys section there were firsts for Lucas Goff in the A string 200m in 32.1sec and for Cormac Fraser in A string Javelin (12.4m). The u11 boys team also won their 4x100m relay.
In the u13 boys competition there were firsts for Blair Scott in the A string 75mH (13.4secs) and for Aidan Simpson in the 200m (28.5secs). Both were PBs. The u13 boys relay team also finished first.
For the senior men Gordon Barrie ran in the 3000m A string finishing first in 9.25.9.
This leaves the teams in good positions going into the final qualifying match at the start of August. The u11 and u13 boys teams are currently both sitting first in their age groups with the u11 boys leading by 13 points and the u13 boys by over 30 points from their nearest rivals! The u11 girls are currently 2nd and in 3rd are u15 girls, senior women and u17 men. Also in qualifying positions for finals in September sitting 4th after the 3 matches are u17 women, u15 boys and senior men.
