It was a good day in Aberdeen for the Petrofac final with some good team results and individual performances.
For the girls the u11s placed 3rd, u15s 4th, u17s 6th and senior women’s 3rd.
For the boys the u11s were 4th, the u13s were announced as 3rd but the website shows that Aidan Simpsons 1st place long jump was scored as 0 points instead of 11 so they should be promoted to 2nd after its amended, u15 were 7th, u17s 4th and senior men 5th.
Individually there were good wins for Amarachi Okeke (u11) who won the B race 80m in 12.01 (this would have got her 2nd in the A race!) and Katie Patullo (senior women) in the 100mh A race (14.98). The u11 girls relay team also had a convincing win.
For the boys Aidan Simpson (u13s) improved his long jump PB to win the A string with a jump of 4.41cm. Blair Scott (u13s) won the A race 75m hurdles in 12.92 and Gino Brock (also u13s) won his B race 75m hurdles in (15.68) in his first race over hurdles…and the time would have put him 3rd in the A race!
Well done all of you.
