A journey up to Inverness for the u13s and u15s YDL was rewarded with some fab performances and results. The results have been a bit delayed due to an admin problem but are now available.
For the u15 boys Kristofer Hernandez ran a fantastic 300m to win the A race in 41:44secs.
The u15 girls had a really good day. Niamh Robertson was 1st in the A string 200m (27:65sec)1st in the A 75m hurdles (12:80sec) and 3rd in the A long jump (3.88m). In the 200m B race Nicolle Melville was 2nd in 30:39. Sophie Kidd ran well in the A string 300m finishing 3rd in 46:99. In the 800m Emily Paul finished 2nd in the A race (2:40:66) and Carmen Thomson 2nd in the B race (2:51:20). The girls 4 x 300m relay team also did well finishing 2nd in 3:12:25.
The u13 boys also continued their good form. Aidan Simpson was 2nd in the A string 200m (29:69) and 2nd in the 800m A string (2:32:14). Gino Brock had a good run in the B string 200m finishing 2nd in 30:88. Blair Scott had a 1st in the A 75m hurdles in 14:42, a 1st in the A long jump (4.23m) and a 2nd in the A 1500m (5:19:99). Scott Vigrow also had a good 1500m finishing 2nd in the B race (5:29:00) and 2nd in the B string long jump (3.65m). The boys then ran a solid 4 x 100m relay coming 2nd in 58.60secs.
There were also lots of PBs right across the age groups. Well done all. A good days work and a fun day out…the weather was much better than forecast too😆
